Baptism yesterday. It was lovely. Well almost all of it was lovely. It was hot. That part was probably unavoidable. I'm pretty sure we exceeded the room capacity but it was worth it.
My friends did a musical number that brought chills. A really hard feat in such a hot venue. Violin and piano with a stunning arrangement.
Her older sister gave a talk on baptism. She squirted whipped cream on a beautiful photo of her sister representing the sins that would be washed away. It was cute. During her talk she mentioned that baptism comes from a Greek word dip or immerse. So I looked it up. It does. She really did a wonderful job conveying the message and making me think. Bravo!
Her Uncle gave a talk on the gift of the Holy Ghost. It too was pretty good.
Madison Cooper looked amazing in her little white dress. She was the star and boy did she shine!
